Emma is a solo musician originally from Victoria, BC.
She supports her vocals with acoustic guitar, which she learned to play as a child by way of her father’s informal teachings. Her genre ranges from pop to folk, r&b, and bossa-nova in the form of both covers and original songs. While loyal to her own tone, Emma finds challenge and inspiration in adapting to the nuance of each genre she sings.
Emma writes from her own perspective as a young woman, grounded in the ubiquity of what brings us together, and bringing transparent wit to her tales of relationships gone wrong.
